We had our first date in Columbus, Ohio at the Columbus Zoo. It was a "gorgeous" day in October, an average temperature of 59 with drizzles all day, and 20+ mph winds, It was a perfect day to go to the zoo. As we walked through the African Lion exhibit, we coined the pun "Just Lion Around," and we've joked about it since. Tom would later propose to me in the same location just 4 years later, the weather being almost identical to the day that I knew he was the one.

In September of 2018, we finally moved from our small apartment to our home. We were so excited to have gotten a yard, and our own game room in the basement! We will have been here for a year by the time we are married, but I wish to spend so many more years with you. I know that anywhere will be a home as long as I have you by my side.

After 4 years of living with you, I finally convinced you to get a pet. Luckily, it was the sweet angel we have today. Harvey has been such a great impact on our lives since his adoption. Seeing how much he has grown on you in the last few months has made me unbelievably happy.
