Our story began with something very simple a message on Facebook. "I shot my shot" (AKA entered dm). Just a small “hello” that neither of us knew would become the beginning of something extraordinary. What started as casual conversations quickly turned into long talks, laughter, and a friendship that felt effortless from the very beginning. On December 28, 2013, he asked me to be his girlfriend, and from that moment our journey truly began. Over the years, our relationship has grown through every season of life through long distances, from Nigeria, to Canada, to USA, through challenges, dreams, and countless beautiful memories. Through it all, we have been each other's constant: we are our greatest supporters, safe place, and best friends. His love has always been shown in action in the quiet ways he shows up, in the sacrifices he makes, and in the unwavering support he has given me. From standing beside me through to encouraging me through every new chapter, he has never stopped reminding me what real partnership looks like. What began with a simple message slowly became a friendship, then a love story built on trust, patience, faith, and deep commitment. Years later, that same love has brought us here preparing to promise forever. As we gather in beautiful Cancun with the people we love most, we are grateful for every step that led us to this moment.
