What's the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests wear formal attire. For men, this typically means suit (or dress shirt) and tie. Jeans or cargo pants are not permitted. For women, a long dress, cocktail dress, or dressy suit is perfect. Please refrain from any ostentatious colors or designs. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

RSVPs must be returned by mail by the requested date. We will reach out as a friendly reminder if we have not received your RSVP a few weeks before they are due.

Are plus ones or children allowed?

Answer

To keep our celebration intimate, we’re limiting our guest list to those we know personally. The names of all invited guests are listed on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding!

Are the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour/reception being held at the same location?

Answer

No, the ceremony will be held at St. Thomas More Church in Allentown, PA. The cocktail hour/ reception will be held approximately 25 minutes away at Bear Creek Mountain Resort- Mountain Ballroom. Please see the "Schedule" tab for complete details including addresses for both venues.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided, so guests will be responsible for getting to the ceremony, reception, and back to their accommodations. If you’re planning to stay at our reception venue, Bear Creek Mountain Resort, you’ll find booking details under the “Travel” tab on our website. Carpooling or ride share services are encouraged for those who will not be staying over at Bear Creek Mountain Resort.

Where is the best place to park at the ceremony and reception locations?

Answer

There is ample parking behind St. Thomas More Church, please do not park across the street in the neighborhood. After following the long driveway at Bear Creek Mountain Resort, bear to the left and follow the signage for parking near the large concrete walls. Guests staying overnight may stop by the roundabout near the hotel lobby to drop off their luggage or bags before parking in the designated location.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos at our wedding ceremony. Our photographers will be hard at work to capture all the special moments to share with friends and family later on. We truly want our guests to be in the moment with us during this special day!

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception locations are wheelchair friendly. Elevators will not be required for guests at either location.

Are there alternative options for food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes, your mailed RSVP card will include a section to select your meal. A vegetarian option will be available, and the kitchen can accommodate common food allergies such as nuts, shellfish, and gluten. Please be sure to note any dietary needs on your RSVP before sending it back so we don’t miss them!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. There will be chicken, steak, seafood, and vegetarian options available. Specific menu items for the sit-down dinner will be included on your RSVP in the mail.

Will there be an "after-party"?

Answer

No, there will not be an "after-party" following the wedding reception. We hope you enjoyed our special day and celebration to the fullest!
