We first met on a hinge date at Top Golf in Atlanta, GA in March of 2022. We hit it off and decided to continue seeing each other. Travis was great at setting up fun dates. We would do dinner and dessert, go to the shooting range, rock climbing, gym/pool dates at LifeTime, crawfish boils, movie dates. We had a blast with whatever we were doing together. In April of 2022, Travis broke the news to Ashley that he was headed to Brunswick, GA for ATF school in May and then be placed in Houston, TX to continue his career. We both decided that we would continue hanging out and see what happens between us. Ashley remembers calling her mom, that next morning, expressing that she was bummed that Travis was leaving Atlanta because she really liked him. After he made the move to FLETC, Travis and Ashley continued to make it a point to see one another on the weekends. She would drive out to Savannah or he would drive back to Atlanta. We met up in Savannah, GA the 4th of July weekend of 2022 and had an awesome weekend eating the southern food, exploring downtown, and enjoying some beach time on Tybee Island. Travis and Ashley developed deeper feelings that weekend and we knew we didn't want this to end when Travis moved to Houston, TX in December. Ashley suggested that she take a nursing travel assignment in Houston so that they could be together. Travis and Ashley continued to take advantage of every opportunity to see one another those next 6 months. Ashley landed a travel assignment at Texas Children's for January of 2023. Travis graduated ATF school in December and they made the trip out to Houston, TX to start their new lives. Ashley eventually found a permanent nursing position in Houston after completing her travel assignment. Travis and Ashley bought their first home in Katy, TX in February of 2024. In April of 2025, Travis proposed to the love of his life. We can't wait to tie the knot with our favorite people in one of our favorite places!
