We’re getting married!

It started back in the summer of 2020, when Getch joined the online Bible classes where Frey had already been attending, that he got to know her. A few months passed while focusing on that interesting bible class meetings, but one day, during her first topical sermon preaching presentation, Frey caught Getch's eye . After that moment, as time went by, Getch was not able to stop thinking of Frey. Praying was a single recourse he had until later Getch became fortunate to have the opportunities to start phone conversations with Frey. Prayer requests and Class assignment questions to discuss opened the door to talk with Frey. Finally, their seldom phone conversation and prayer meetings became more frequent and intense which strengthened their connection. It was about one and half years later; however, when she finally caught his heart, that Getch decided to travel from Minnesota to Maryland to see her. Getch remembers that it was one Sunday night, after their usual long chat about God, their past life experiences, and background, he felt to ask Frey if he could travel and visit her. After seeing Frey's excitement to meet him in person, Getch never took a second when he started searching for and buying his flight ticket. Finally, it became physical to see each other for the first time. The reactions, excitement, and emotions each had when they see each other at the airport where Frey went to pick him up, and the rest is history. After his first visit, Getch acted resolutely, and he planned to go back to Maryland in a couple of months to propose to Frey. Getch mentioned this idea to one of her close friends, then together with her other great sister in the Lord, produced some good ploy. Then on a Sunday after church service, the pastor and most of the church members went to a gourmet restaurant. After eating some delectable lunch, they all, except Frey separated and delayed by her close friend, headed to double tree hotel ballroom where it was reserved and beautifully decorated by her loving sister(s) in the Lord. Getch got down on one knee, then Frey showed up walking down the hallway accompanied and directed by her friend. Frey had not known what was going on except she was told that they all were going to gather for coffee. Surprisingly, once she saw Getch from afar holding the ring kneeling on his knee, barley was Frey able to go ahead anymore. She became so overwhelmed. Needless to say, Frey said yes!! We can't wait to celebrate with you at our wedding ceremony and reception on October 2nd.
