Sam was the Leasing Consultant at the apartment community Matt had moved to when he came to North Carolina. Matt had come to the office to renew his lease, we both had a feeling that our lives would change after our conversation. A few days later Sam mustered the courage to ask Matt out for a drink and the rest is history!

On the anniversary of our first date, Matt had suggested we spend the afternoon hiking at Crowders Mountain. We loaded up our two dogs and took the 45 minute drive to our favorite hiking spot near Charlotte. On our way to start back down the mountain, Matt had proposed!
