The night we met was not your typical “love at first site”. Jared and I met at a party hosted by my new room mate who happened to be Jared’s previous room mate. We made small talk off and on throughout the evening. I saw Jared every now and then when he would come to hang out at the house. It wasnt until New Years Eve that we knew neither of us wanted to live another day with out the other. Since New Years Eve, we have laughed, traveled, cried, supported each other, and fallen madly in love. Jared’s proposal could not have been better. I was under the impression that I was getting dressed up for “girls night”. Jared was adament about taking me to dinner that night. I, of course, tried to convince him to do it another night since my friends were visiting. He would not budge. After we ate dinner, Jared asked a woman at the table next to us to take our picture (thanks Cassidy). It was at that moment that both of our families and friends came out to the rooftop. Jared got down on one knee and I could not have said yes quick enough. It was the perfect evening and we cannot wait to say “I do” and continue our lives together.
