We met through the virtual world of Second Life, at a jazz club on April 2013. I met Tim in person on Thanksgiving 2013. For about 4 and half years, we stayed as friends. On October 15, 2017, he not only asked me to be his girlfriend, but to move in with him. I moved to Lakeland, Florida from Houston, Texas the following month and started our journey together as a couple.

It was a normal Saturday morning, we finished our breakfast. I washed the dishes and cleaned the kitchen and finally, I sat in front of my computer and suddenly, I heard noises behind my back. Tim was fussing at Dakota, our golden retriever for something to stay still. I turned around and I saw a big plate on Dakota's neck saying "Mommy, will you marry Daddy?" I was speechless and I cannot even say "yes" because I was so touched. After few minutes, I finally said "yes".
