Our wedding is taking place at a beautiful nature sanctuary, and with that we have ample space to utilize. Our ceremony will be open air with chairs for seating and plenty of space to spread out and stand where you feel most comfortable. Our reception will be under a tent and seating arrangements will be carefully thought through, and we'll try our best to keep households and families together. Service staff will be following the current requirements as mandated by the state or county at the time of the event. Beverage service will be provided to guests while at a table since at-the-bar service is not permitted.
To ensure your safety and those around you, we will be practicing the CDC and state/local recommended guidelines. Wayne County, Pennsylvania is in the Green Phase and masks are currently mandatory in PA.
We ask that everyone attending take their temperature on the day of the wedding and to stay home if they have a fever, cough or sore throat. We will provide disposable masks and have hand sanitizer available for guests to use.
We strongly advise our guests to use contact-less greetings in accordance with social distancing. However, we understand that guests may have different comfort levels. We will provide color-coded bracelets for guests to wear that indicate what level of interaction is most comfortable.
When you arrive on the property, continue past the Visitor Center down the Big Lake Trail passing the Environmental Education Center. A parking area will be on your right before arriving to the Carriage House barn.
The dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies: cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits and maxi dresses. Block heels and wedge sandals are recommended if you wish to wear heels. Guys: suit, jacket, tie optional. The wedding will be outdoors, and temperatures in the Poconos tend to drop at night. Bring a jacket or wrap in case it gets chilly.
We request that during the ceremony, you unplug from your devices and be fully present with us. Please let our photographer do her thing. You can plug back in for the reception!
No, due to social distancing requirements, our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Only children of immediate family will be in attendance. We are unable to invite any other kids. While we love the little ones, we want our wedding to be your night off! Please leave the kids at home and enjoy the evening with us.
The RSVP deadline is August 1. Please RSVP online via this website.
