The dress code for the welcome party is casual. The dress code for the ceremony and reception is cocktail attire. All events are being held outdoors and much of the terrain is soft or uneven. Transportation will be provided on the day of the ceremony to The Brambles from each of The Madrones, Indian Creek Inn, Boonville Hotel, and Anderson Valley Inn. 2:30pm : Pickup at Boonville Hotel 2:45pm : Pickup at Madrones 2:45pm : Pickup at Anderson Valley Inn (two shuttles) 3:05pm : Pickup at Indian Creek Inn 3:10pm : Pickup at Indian Creek Inn (second shuttle) 3:15pm : Pickup at Madrones (second shuttle) If you are not staying at one of these locations, you should drive yourself to the venue where there is limited parking available. There is no public transportation or walking path to the venue.
You will need to arrange your own transportation to the Welcome Party. There is limited parking available at the Madrones site where the Welcome Party will be held. Carpooling is encouraged.
You will need to arrange your own transportation to and from the airport. Most out of town guests will be returning via SFO.
Gas stations get scarcer and more expensive as you get closer to Philo. Last functioning station is in Boonville (nothing in Philo.) It’s cheaper and easier to fill up before you leave Highway 101. The last 30 miles of your drive to Philo, which takes about 45 minutes, is on a mountain highway with lots of twists and turn-outs. If you can arrange to make this drive during daylight hours, it will be easier. Please drive patiently and take breaks if needed. The turnoff to the wedding venue at The Brambles can be a little difficult to see. Driving north towards Mendocino, it is about a quarter mile on your left past the signs for the Madrones/Wickson— you will drive over a short bridge over Indian Creek in between. There should be a welcome sign marking the entrance.
