Freddy and Natalia have known each other since their early teen years. She fell first, but he fell harder….and tore two ACLS 😂. It all truly ignited during the summers after the pandemic that was filled with long volleyball days at Whiskey Island, late night taco bell runs, Friday pizza nights, and ping pong tournaments. What started as friendship, blossomed into young love. Natalia~ “I really loved and valued having Freddy as a close friend before we were ever involved. I saw him as a very kind and respectful young man. When my siblings and I started to get close to him and his siblings, we had the best time. We would hang out every single Friday without fail. My siblings and I called it, “Dembie Day”, it was the best part of our week.” Freddy~“I always thought she was the most beautiful girl I knew back when I was 15, and nothing’s changed a decade later! I’ve always loved being friends with Natalia. I specifically admired how loving she was, and how intensely she cared for her family and friends. Our families have been connected for decades before Natalia and I met, so I felt a connection to her even before we became close. While we were just friends, we had this immensely powerful chemistry that I felt was very personal and private, yet obvious to anybody who was looking. Natalia~”I loved conversing with Freddy in general. He has this high energy towards life and what he's passionate about. It was captivating for me. I would ask him random questions to give us something to talk about and without realizing it, I could see what kind of person he really was. We began to truly bond when we pushed past surface level conversation and dug a little deeper into the secret person of the heart. Once I caught a true glimpse into what his heart really looked like, I was sold. I realized he was the person I had always dreamed of venturing through life with and the one who was going to change it forever.” Freddy~”The closer we became as friends, she felt like the only person I could confide in. I found myself sharing personal details and stories I never imagined sharing, and I couldn’t figure out why. Now we know!! She has this beautiful ability to truly listen and empathize with you. And her energy will match yours, when you’re hyper and excited she’s right there with you! When you’re more relaxed and lowkey, she’s calm and composed with you. She holds me together.” Together, they have had the privilege of attending many Special Metropolitan Public Witnessing (SMPW) shifts, creating countless new friends, as well as fortifying their relationship with Jehovah, his ministry, and each other. Natalia~”Our relationship and time together has been the climax of my life, yet it’s not perfect. And I believe that is what makes it beautiful. In my opinion, true love is when you put two imperfect people together and they are able to push past the obstacles life throws, accept every flaw the other has, and ultimately have a profound respect and admiration for each other. Freddy and I have a profound respect and admiration for each other. And Jehovah is the core of our relationship. He has brought us to this moment in our lives, and I couldn’t be more grateful and happy. I count myself as very lucky to have found a best friend and partner in one person.” Freddy~ “Dating and being engaged to Natalia has been the happiest time of my life. She’s truly been the perfect girlfriend, fiancé, and she’ll absolutely be a perfect wife. She’s always put Jehovah first in every aspect of her life, so this three-fold cord that binds us together will never be undone. I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together. I’ve found my forever person.”
