This hotel is a GREAT option since it is a 4 minute walk from the restaurant Mio Modo where we will be having dinner and a 6 minute walk from The Dance Lab (which is where we will be ending the night!). Here's what we recommend, especially if you will be drinking alcohol/ don't want to worry about moving your car around: 1) drive to the church for the wedding ceremony (lots of free street parking all around) 2) after the ceremony, drive 7 minutes to the five-story parking garage right across the street from the restaurant Mio Modo (entrances off 2nd & Illinois Street as well as 2nd & Walnut Street). ***Overnight parking is on the 3rd floor and up! Parking is free! 3) after cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert, we will walk from Mio Modo to The Dance Lab (only 2 blocks away!) 4) at the end of the night, you can walk 6 minutes back to your hotel room at Hotel Baker 5) the following morning, you can walk 5 minutes back to the parking garage to pick up your car *Please note that we do not have a block of rooms reserved, so if you wish to stay at this hotel, please check for availability and book at your earliest convenience.
