The Wedding Website of William Mann and Sarah Frederick Wolken
Question

How to rsvp?

Answer

We sent out an RSVP card with our invitations with information about how to RSVP. We are collecting RSVP's virtually and you can submit yours on the "RSVP" page on this website.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire with personality! Colorful, fun, chic silhouettes, suits, dresses, and stylish details. We want you to feel fun, snazzy, beautiful, special, and comfortable! If you want to wear a tie, wear a tie! Have those special shoes you've been saving for a fun event, put 'em on! Don't hold back! Just make sure to wear something you can dance in. Dress to impress on the dance floor! We can't wait to see what you choose!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a great Travel page on this website with some recommended places to stay. Starting the second week of February, we will have a block of rooms at the Claremont Hotel. To book in our block, please copy and paste the link below into your browser or ask for "Willy and Freddie's Wedding." Feel free to book outside of our block if needed. If you’d rather rent a place, Airbnb and Vrbo have plenty of great options around the Bay Area. All of our events will be in Berkeley and are easily accessible from anywhere nearby, including Oakland, San Francisco, and Marin. Some neighborhoods we especially love: Albany, Rockridge, Piedmont, North Berkeley, Cleveland Heights, Grand Lake, and Lakeshore. Question

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Our venue sits atop a hill, but but it is easily accessible! We highly recommend taking a Lyft or Uber directly to the venue; however there is ample parking if you need to drive.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

No! While a car can be helpful, it’s definitely not necessary for getting around the Bay Area. We have a great network of trains, buses, and ferries to get you where you need to go. For more direct trips, Uber and Lyft are widely available—we recommend having those apps set up before you arrive!

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We do! Our registry is accessible on this website under the "Registry" tab. Rather than accumulating more kitchen appliances than we could ever use, it would mean so much to us if you contributed to our future home or honeymoon funds!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are sure they're lovely, but we are at max capacity. (Feel free to reach out if there is an extenuating circumstance).

Question

Are kids welcome? If not, do you have a babysitter recommendation?

Answer

We want all our guests to have as much fun as possible at our wedding. If this means booking a sitter for your kids, we highly encourage that and can recommend _____ resources. We realize this may not apply to all children, feel free to text or call us about what feels right for you and your family.

Can you recommend some good places for us to eat while we're in town?

Answer

Sure can! Check the "Things To Do" tab for an overly extensive list of some of our favorite places to eat in the area.
