Fred and Tony first met in June of 2012 at Bobby Wetherbee’s piano bar at The Crown and Anchor in Provincetown. Fred was in a relationship but was alone with his friends at The Crown and Anchor. Fred and Tony had a wonderful conversation and there was definitely a spark! Two years later August 1, 2014 Fred was no longer in a relationship, he was back in Provincetown alone and went back to The Crown and Anchor to enjoy Bobby Wetherbee. Fred being a creature of habit was standing in the exact same place in the bar as he was in 2012 and Tony recognized Fred across the room and came over to Fred and said… have we met before? Fred said yes, we met two years ago, and your name is Tony. Fred and Tony spent a lot of time together while Fred was on vacation in 2014 and for the next year they dated and spent time together. In 2015, Fred and Tony officially became a couple and from 2015 to 2020 they spent time between Provincetown and Long Island. On August 1, 2019 Fred and Tony became engaged and planned a wedding for August 1, 2020. However, in March 2020 along came COVID, so Fred moved up to Provincetown and he and Tony lived together during the pandemic and their wedding plans had to be cancelled. Because August 1st is such a special day for Fred and Tony, they went ahead with their nuptials and were married on August 1, 2020, quietly in their backyard with their dear friends Scott and Brett as their witnesses. Fred and Tony tried to have a wedding reception to celebrate their marriage but each time we seemed to get ahead of COVID another variant came. So August 1, 2025 is the ideal opportunity for Fred and Tony to celebrate their marriage with their family and friends on their five-year wedding anniversary.
