Kiki and Fred matched on Hinge. Kiki's hinge profile said her name was Catherine and her occupation was Marketing Manager. Fred Googled "Catherine Marketing Manager Chicago" and the top results was a LinkedIn profile for Catherine Panzica. Fred then went on Instagram and searched for "Catherine Panzica" and found the account cmpanzica. The account cmpanzica had mutual friend matthewtully. Fred asked Matt how he knew Catherine and Matt said she was great and Fred should ask her on a date. Fred then concocted this elaborate lie to get Catherine to go on a date with him. Fred messaged Kiki on Hinge, "Hey this is weird, but I randomly ran into Matt Tully on the street and he asked how my dating life was going. I showed him my hinge app and he saw we matched and he says that you and I should go out for drinks soon." Kiki believed this lie and agreed to go out for drinks with Fred at Sparrow.
