Travel & Lodging

The Wedding Website of Kimberly Renee Mathis and Anthony William Klotz
Nestled between mountains and the Tennessee River, Chattanooga is a city that blends natural beauty with a laid-back, creative energy. Known for its scenic views, walkable downtown, and vibrant arts and food scenes, it’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down and explore. You can spend the morning hiking or strolling along the riverwalk, the afternoon browsing local shops and museums, and the evening enjoying great food, drinks, and live music. Chattanooga feels both relaxed and lively - big enough to offer plenty to do, but small enough to feel personal and welcoming. We love it for its mix of outdoors, culture, and character, and we’re excited to share it with you while we celebrate together.

Flight

Flying into Chattanooga (CHA)

The easiest way to get to Chattanooga is by flying directly into Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA). The airport is small, easy to navigate, and located just about 15 minutes from downtown, making arrival and departure refreshingly low-stress. CHA offers direct flights from several major hubs, including Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Chicago, and more, depending on the season. Most major airlines service the airport, and rental cars are available on site. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are also widely available and typically quick to arrive. If you’re staying downtown, the drive from the airport is short and straightforward. CHA is a great option if you prefer minimal travel time and an easy arrival - you’ll be settled and exploring Chattanooga in no time.

Flight

Flying into Nashville (BNA) or Atlanta (ATL)

If flights into Chattanooga don’t work for your schedule or budget, flying into Nashville (BNA) or Atlanta (ATL) is another great option. Both airports offer a wide range of flights and are well connected to Chattanooga. From Nashville (BNA), Chattanooga is about a 2–2.5 hour drive. From Atlanta (ATL), the drive is typically around 2 hours, depending on traffic. For those who prefer not to rent a car when leaving the airport, Groome Transportation offers reliable shuttle service between both Nashville and Atlanta airports and downtown Chattanooga. Shuttles are comfortable, convenient, and a popular choice for visitors. (We’ll include a link to Groome Transportation separately.) If you do rent a car, both routes are scenic and straightforward, making the drive part of the experience rather than a hassle.
