Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

May 31st, 2024

Question

What is a wedding weekend?

Answer

Since we are already married, we have decided to take a whole weekend to celebrate with both of our families involved. With that being said, the weekend will be used to get to know each other‘s families, explore the Smoky Mountains, and have fun! There will be one night dedicated to “wedding reception night“ which will include a catered meal and cake.

Question

What should I wear for “Wedding reception night”?

Answer

We ask that you dress nice, but comfortable. For women, this can be a summer dress, skirt, or slacks and nice shirt. For men, jeans and collared shirts will be just fine. Any color (besides white) will do! (Just something we can all take pictures in)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We would love to have everyone; however please check with Zackery or Kayla before bringing uninvited guest to make sure we can accommodate.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We are going to be staying in a massive lodge, there will be plenty of beds for those invited at no cost to you! Please be flexible with sleeping arrangements as there are multiple beds in each room.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know if you have any special food needs/request!

Question

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

Knoxville Airport (McGhee Tyson Airport)

Question

Will I need to rent a car?

Answer

There will be lots of family driving to the cabin. We should have enough extra seats to go around! If you are flying and need a ride to the airbnb, please let Zackery or Kayla know so that we can arrange someone to pick you up!

Question

What other things should I bring?

Answer

It’s going to be summer in Tennessee, so plan for warm weather clothes (high temps 80s, low temps 60s). This includes a bathing suit as there will be a pool and hot tub. You may bring an extra towel if you’d like, but there should be enough provided in the airbnb. Other things you might consider bringing are, bug spray, sunscreen, hygiene products, and a good attitude!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Tentative schedule… Friday - arrive at the lodge/spend day around the property Saturday - breakfast at the lodge, spend the day exploring Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, then spend dinner doing “wedding reception night” Sunday - spend day exploring surrounding areas or relaxing at the airbnb Monday - depart airbnb by 10am

Question

What will I have to pay for?

Answer

We will be covering the lodge cost and small meals to eat while we are at the airbnb including a limited selection of alcohol. Meals and activities outside of the airbnb will be on you. If you want a specific alcohol/food and need us to pick it up for you due to traveling, please let us know by the rsvp date so we can plan accordingly!

Question

How early can I arrive to the cabin?

Answer

We will have access to the cabin on June 13th at 4pm. Please note if you are planning to come on the 13th, we will be asking you to help set up for the weekend.

For all the days along the way
