We're Getting Married!

How did we meet? Great question, we are not sure since we have been friends for nearly a decade. We assume we first met at either Bowling Green softball or Karaoke at Main Street Lanes. Either way, we have our friends Jake and Codi to thank big time. Basically, Caitlin had a crush from the start and found her opportunity to make it happen after many years. Pretty much just striving each day to be our own version of Chandler and Monica in the best way.

Silly little story- The first date came about when we planned on going to the Waunakee-Sauk football game one Friday night. There was some kind of bet made between our friends Tony (Sauk grad) and Mike (Waunakee grad). Ian did not really want to go, but he asked if Caitlin was going. After talking about plans for that night, Ian said that he had hoped that we could do something together just the two of us before. Cue a huge smile on Caitlin’s face while watching a Brewer game with her parents and having her Dad ask why she was smiling so big. As they say, the rest is history.

Pretty much the proposal Caitlin had been dreaming of her whole life and Ian did not know this when he planned it. Our love for Wisconsin sports is what bonds us the most, so of course were at a Brewer Game with both set of parents and Maggie. Ian took the opportunity to ask on a walk back to the tailgate. In a big open parking lot area perfectly placed in front of the stadium. Luckily, an amazing stranger took pictures and shared them with us after. Caitlin was completely caught off-guard and it was incredibly perfect.
