Justin and Maria met late in high school through a mutual friend, who was actually Maria's neighbor who lived down the street from her growing up. As their friendship developed, they both wanted to be with each other; however, the timing was never right. Graduating a year apart, the couple went their separate ways. As they got a little older and grew a little wiser, ten years later, they reconnected, and their feelings remained the same. Justin's original plan was foiled, as mother nature decided that she couldn't wait one more day for him to propose to Maria! The couple was supposed to go to the Pittsburgh Water Lantern Festival; however, it got postponed to August due to weather - Justin couldn't wait 3 more months.... and neither could Maria! So, on May 24, 2019, the lovebirds played hooky and took the day off. After attending Gavin's 1st-grade play, they went out to a nice lunch with Justin's parents, and got in a round of golf. It was a beautiful day that they both didn't want to end; however, Maria, unfortunately, had to return back to school for an event planned that evening - she was less than excited. After the event was over, Maria raced home, ready for video games and pizza with her man; however, that's not what Justin had planned. Instead, she returned home to a man who was excited, nervous, anxious, & prepared. Dinner was served; the couple's favorite wine adorned the center of the table, and Justin was waiting for her as she walked through the door. It was private, intimate, and, most of all, perfect. Justin and Maria are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of their lives with you! See you in Pittsburgh!
