We met each other in middle school, but in high school was where we began dating. It all started when we were both in Academic Decathlon- where our friendship grew, and soon, we started taking each other to class, and Frans was teasing me about prom. Even with knowing we would need to be in a long distance relationship, we took the leap and started dating right after the Academic Decathlon State competition. We often joke about how Spiderman (the Tom Holland version) pretty much sums up our relationship- except we ended up together pretty quickly. We were apart in college, him at Notre Dame, me at UCSD, but we grew together and couldn't wait to see each other and cheer on new experiences and achievements. Fast forward to now- after all the years of being together, growing, changing, and experiencing life together, one thing is for certain: we want to spend the rest of our lives together. And now- we get to share this moment with all the people we love and care about the most. Thank you for being a part of our journey, each of you played a big part of our lives and our relationship. Now, in this new chapter, we hope you continue to love and support us. We can't wait to celebrate this day with you!
