We're getting married!

Frans and Karen’s story is one that proves timing truly is everything. They first met back in 2001 as colleagues, forming a simple and genuine friendship in the workplace. There was no romance at the time—just two people who got along well and shared easy conversation as part of their day-to-day lives. As the years went by, life led them in different directions, each building their own experiences, paths and families. In 2021, their paths crossed again—this time under very different circumstances. What began as a reconnection between old colleagues quickly grew into something more meaningful. With time, their friendship deepened into a strong and undeniable love, built on mutual respect, shared values, and a connection that felt natural and right. In 2023, Frans asked Karen to spend forever with him, and she said yes—marking the beginning of their next beautiful chapter together. Now, they look forward to celebrating their love on the 19th of September 2026, surrounded by the people who matter most to them. Their journey is a reminder that sometimes the best love stories begin not with romance, but with friendship—and the perfect timing to let something more grow.
