Happily Ever After

. Some people fall in love when they least expect it, others go searching for it. This is the story of two people, that fell in love gradually and unbeknownst to him, in the beginning. The couple's first encounter was fleeting. One cool Sunday morning in October 2022, they were introduced at a meeting. They shook hands and exchanged names nonchalantly. There was no spark of electricity, fireworks or great attraction between them, this is not a love at first sight story, more of a dreamy and intricate fairy tale. The next time their lives crossed paths was at a house party in Little Rock. After a night full of games and dancing with their own friends, they had an intriguing conversation where she assumed he was a smooth talker with the girls, and he clearly stated he was not interested in having a relationship with anyone. Neither fell madly in love on this day. Fast forward to three months later, they are both at a beautiful wedding. He asks her out to dance, she accepts and grabs his hand to lead him to the dance floor. As she leads him on to the dance floor, he thinks how beautiful she is and how nice it feels to be holding her hand. However, he is determined to remain single, so he pushes the thought away. While they are dancing and talking, she realizes this man has a pure and kind heart, filled with love for Jehovah and is also very handsome. In this moment she decides she will find out exactly who this man is. As the weeks passed, the messages and calls grew longer and came more often. She would listen to his every word through the phone, anxiously waiting for the next message or call to come in, giddy with excitement. He could not stop thinking about her, calling her during his work breaks, at night after meetings, wanting to share all aspects of his life with her. His determination to stay single slipping away with every call. Almost a year after they met, one amazing canoe trip, regional assembly, failed Labor Day weekend and many many phone calls later, she is smitten. She has fallen hard for him. She can imagine a future beside this man, serving Jehovah together, traveling and having fun. Hoping her delulu will come trululu, she gathers every ounce of courage she has & pulls a Ruth move. She confesses her feelings for him! All the meanwhile terrified he does not reciprocate them. He is shocked, flabbergasted and caught completely off guard by this revelation, as he had assumed their friendship was purely platonic. He thinks long and hard about the future and his past, how he did not think he would ever get married. Yet, he can't deny how amazing and beautiful this girl is and how much he loves spending time and sharing moments with her. He picks up the phone and makes a call that changes their lives forever, realizing he has also fallen in love with her. From this moment on they started their life together and lived happily ever after. The End... In reality, only the beginning! We are beyond excited to have each and every one of you at our wedding.
