Our first encounter can be traced back to a mutual friend's birthday party during our college days, though neither of us noticed the other at the time. Fast forward to 2017, when our paths crossed again in Los Angeles. Daniel was visiting Paige's roommate in their apartment. As Paige walked past the couch on her way to the kitchen, only a brief "Hi, nice to meet you" exchange took place between them. A few days later, the group decided to head out to a billiards bar together. Daniel took the opportunity to showcase his pool skills. A couple days later, Daniel slid into Paige's DMs and asked her out on a date. The rest, as they say, is history.

In January 2023, Daniel and Paige celebrated their anniversary in New York City. Daniel had planned a romantic weekend getaway filled with memorable experiences. They started their celebration with a rooftop brunch, then a visit to the Natural History Museum, followed by an fancy Italian dinner. To cap off the evening, they attended a dueling piano show. As they returned to their hotel, Daniel suggested a detour to a nearby park to admire the New York City skyline. Daniel asked Paige to capture the skyline with a panorama, but to her surprise at the end of the panorama Daniel was on one knee with a ring in hand. The answer was, of course, a yes, though it took a moment to process because it was so unexpected! The hotel gave them a bottle of champagne, and they celebrated the rest of the evening!
