WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Nandie and Franklyn met in Ingersol Hall of CUNY Brooklyn College in 2015. Nandie caught Franklyn's attention, simply strolling through the hallway. Franklyn initially walked past, then mustered the courage to turn back and approach her. They exchanged phone numbers and started the long journey to today.

In their youthful nature, they didn't keep up with one another and naturally parted ways. They even dated others and went years without any contact. However, God doesn't make mistakes. This was just a case of "right person, wrong timing."

Nandie was an emergency medical technician and spent much time caring for patients during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. Franklyn remembered that Nandie had been studying to become an EMT in their past engagements and felt compelled to give her a "wellness check" call. That phone call led to questions, which led to wine and chocolate on Nandie's birthday, which led to a balcony movie night, which led to a pandemic taco date, which led to a bouquet of edible arrangements. Franklyn asked Nandie to be his girlfriend on July 11, 2020 and the rest is history.
