Our story begins with a little surprise and a lot of good intentions. We met on a blind date—though we didn’t know it at the time! Jesse’s colleague had just been promoted, and his wife reached out to invite me to join everyone for a casual get-together. What I didn’t know was that she had plans to introduce me to Jesse.
