Answer

To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The weekend of the wedding is also the weekend of USC graduation. There might be heavy traffic the day of the wedding so leaving a little early from the hotel would be the best thing. Hotels are already booking up for that weekend due to the graduation. So if you don't book a room at either of the hotels I have reserved a block of rooms at I wouldn't wait until the last minute to try and find a hotel.
