Is there a dress code?

Answer

Guests are encouraged to wear formal attire. If Bobby and Laura were attending, Bobby would wear a suit with a tie and Laura would wear a floor length or midi dress.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Bobby, Laura, and the wedding party will be staying at Avon Old Farms Hotel. Transportation has been arranged for guests to and from the reception venue for this location. If one of the other hotel options is better for your needs, feel free to book elsewhere!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels?

Answer

Although there will not be transportation to the ceremony, there will be a two shuttles from Avon Old Farms Hotel to The Riverview for the reception. These shuttles will also be available to return guests to Avon Old Farms Hotel at the end of the night. The shuttles will depart Avon Old Farms Hotel at 5:15 pm sharp. There will be no shuttles from the other hotel options.

What should I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

First Church of Christ Simsbury is a 12 minute drive from Avon Old Farms Hotel. Guests are encouraged to drive to the ceremony and return to their hotel afterwards to drop off cars, freshen up, and catch the shuttle from AOFH. The wedding party will be finishing up photos to be able to join guests at cocktail hour.
