Our story began with a reminder that God is never early, never late, but always right on time. After spending time with Franklin while speaking at his church, our friends Zak and Kaitlyn Parkey sent Sabrina a message that simply said, “working on your husband.” They shared with Franklin that they knew the perfect girl for him. Not long after, Franklin followed Sabrina on Instagram, she followed him back, and life carried on. Months passed without a single conversation, yet even then, God was patiently working behind the scenes, aligning hearts and moments we couldn’t yet see. In April, Franklin reached out, and what started as a simple connection quickly became something neither of us could ignore. Conversation flowed easily, laughter followed naturally, and before long, talking every day felt effortless and like something we had always been meant to do. That July 4th weekend, Franklin came to Memphis to visit Sabrina for the first time. We were both nervous, unsure of what to expect, but those nerves faded almost instantly. One of our favorite memories from that weekend was sitting together at The Peabody, sharing mocktails and conversation that felt warm, familiar, and deeply comfortable, as if we had known each other for years. Time seemed to slow, laughter came easily, and by the end of the weekend, thoughtfully planned by Sabrina with a full itinerary, we officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. We both knew we had found something rare, meaningful, and God-ordained. On October 25, 2025, our story took a beautiful turn in Carthage, Missouri, at a courthouse we had often talked about visiting. What Sabrina thought was a day leading to lunch with partners from Franklin’s law firm became a moment that changed our lives forever. The proposal was a complete surprise, tenderly planned, and filled with joyful tears. Every detail reflected the love and intention Franklin brings into everything he does (including a full-circle moment when he created an itinerary graphic for family and friends traveling to celebrate, inspired by the one Sabrina had once made for him during his first visit to Memphis). Our relationship is a beautiful balance. Franklin is the calm, steady presence, thoughtful, organized, and grounding, while Sabrina brings energy, creativity, and a little extra pizazz to everyday life. Together, we complement one another in the best way, strengthened by love, faith, and the joy of walking side by side. We are deeply grateful that God wrote this story and that we both waited for the person He had perfectly prepared for us. As we step into this next chapter, we do so with full hearts, trusting Him with every page still to come. And as our story continues, we know the Author is faithful and the most beautiful chapters are still ahead.
