A Note on Guests

We kindly request that only those specifically named on the invitation join us for our special day. We have chosen to keep our celebration intimate, with children from our families only, unless it has been further discussed. We hope you understand that we have planned carefully to accommodate everyone and that we have limited seating and catering arrangements. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us create a wonderful experience for all. If you have any questions or need clarification, please feel free to reach out to us directly. With love and gratitude, The Bride & Groom

How We Met

4.2.18

Luke and I shared the same neighborhood for many years, so it’s hard to pinpoint the exact moment we first met. It was likely at the neighborhood pool or during school days, where our paths often crossed. It’s kind of like we have always known each other. We started off as friends, with Luke always following me around and confidently telling everyone he knew that he would marry me one day. At the time, I would laugh and tell people how "annoying" he was because, to me, we were just friends. But as the years went by, that persistence of his slowly grew on me. I began to see the qualities in him that made him truly special. And, as fate would have it, I fell in love with the boy who always knew we were meant to be together!

The Proposal

6.19.23

Luke proposed during his family vacation at Lake Sinclair. He had planned a special surprise under the guise of taking family photos. We all got dressed up for the occasion, and although I knew his family wasn't usually big on photos, I thought maybe it was because the first grandchild was on the way and they wanted to capture these special moments before the baby arrived. To my complete surprise, when I walked out for the "family photos," there was Luke, down on one knee. I was in shock! And to make the moment even more perfect, he had secretly invited my family to be there as well. It was a beautiful and unforgettable day filled with love, joy, and the beginning of our forever.
