The day before the game, spend the afternoon lakeside in New Buffalo, Michigan. Splash around in Paul and Mary's outdoor pool or walk to the beach just a few minutes away. Enjoy beverages at 6PM and a casual outdoor supper at 7PM in Paul and Mary's backyard. End the evening with lakeside fireworks at dusk. Lodging is available at numerous national brand hotels and through AirBnB. A block of rooms has been held under "Binder Wedding" at 4411 Inn & Suites in New Buffalo. See Travel Page for details. Another place to consider is Gordon Beach Inn, a historic lodge that is walkable to the beach and the Binder's home. While there is no special rate at this inn, it is a very special place. For guests staying the night in local New Buffalo lodging, there will be a free shuttle bus to Wrigley Field that will leave from the Binder's house on August 20.
