Her Story 🤍

We met back in Hamburg Middle school. We never really talked until High school. Joey and I had the same homeroom all 4 years in high school. It was Joey, my friend Sarah, and I who always hung out in homeroom. Joey did try talking to me more than friends in high school, although I was a bit delusional back then I guess. 😂 Never would I have thought that the man of my dreams was in front of me all 4 years of highschool. We stopped talking after high school, but we kept eachother on snapchat. May 30th 2017 I made a snapchat story asking for someone to go see the new Pirates of the Caribbean with me. Joey chatted and said he wanted to. That started it all. I guess I finally came to my senses, and I accepted his offer! Mind you we never even went to see that movie. Our first date was with a group to Xtreme air (trampoline place), where I broke my ankle. Yes, I broke my ankle on our first date😂. After that he would have to come pick me up and watch/help me hobble to his car. For some reason he stayed with me through it all. The way he would look into my eyes and give me the reassurance I needed was what made me realize he was my forever. He always made me feel like his priority. Never had i felt the way I did with him, with anyone else. Some call us crazy but we moved in together only about a month and a half of dating. We have made it through all of these years with a few bumps here and there but we never stop showing our love for one another..... Here we are now finally getting married and all, even though my family and I thought he would never pop the question ❤️☺️ May 14, 2022 Just can’t come soon enough🥰

His Story🖤

It all started back in either sophomore or junior year of high school (I can’t quite remember) when I took interest in Kelsey. She was always the girl with a big smile on her face and someone who could always cheer you up when you were feeling down. Someone you could trust in, have a laugh with, but most importantly, someone you could rely on. We were in the same home room since the start of high school and had always been good friends. She definitely caught my eye so I took a chance and asked her on a date. Unfortunately I was turned down and Kelsey put me into the dreaded “friend zone”. Although I had been shut down we remained friends for the rest of our high school career and after graduation we went our separate ways. It had been almost a year after graduation that we hadn’t said a single word to one another, until Kelsey wanted to go see a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie that had just been released in theaters. She posted a Snapchat story asking if anyone wanted to go see it with her. I responded saying I would go with her and just like that we reconnected like we didn’t miss a beat. We started talking more and more and instead of being “friend zoned” this time, Kelsey decided she wanted to go on a date with me. We decided to go on our first date at Xtreme Air, a trampoline park, instead of the movies. On the date Kelsey decided she was going to do a front flip and instead of landing it she completely ate the ground, breaking her ankle in the process. Instead of helping her up, making sure she was okay, I just stood there and laughed. In my defense I didn’t realize she had seriously hurt herself but that isn’t an excuse. I guess that’s when I knew we were meant to be. Even after standing there and laughing at her pain, she still wanted to be with me. We still haven’t seen that Pirates of the Caribbean movie, but after that first date the rest is history.
