In every lifetime...

John and Heather met the way many great love stories begin — through mutual friends. What started as occasional run-ins, slowly turned into a familiar presence in each other’s lives. For a few years, we were simply friends, crossing paths here and there - until we took a chance on a spark between us that was undeniable. Since then, life has taken us through years of love, career changes, lots of laughs, and seasons of growth. We’ve supported each other through long hours, big decisions, and even a chapter of long-distance while John was in nursing school. No matter the challenge, we’ve always found ourselves by each other's side. When it came time to propose, John planned it with the same thoughtfulness and dedication he brings to everything he does. Heather had no idea what was in store for them that weekend. After a night shift, running on almost no sleep, he traveled to Long Branch, New Jersey to make sure every detail was perfect, prior to our travels there together. Following a beautiful (and unexpectedly windy) beachfront dinner, he led Heather onto the boardwalk, where he got down on one knee. With the ocean beside us and a photographer secretly capturing the moment, John asked the easiest question Heather ever answered. Somewhere between the years of shared laughs, lots of dancing, and easy conversations, we realized we were two old souls, truly meant for each other. "I'd find you in every lifetime..."
