What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive promptly at 4:30. We want to get started as soon as possible, so arriving early will help everything run smoothly.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. We recommend comfortable shoes for walking on grass/outdoor surfaces and a warm layer for the evening, as Santa Barbara can get quite chilly after sunset, even in warm weather.

What is the dress code for the wedding?
Answer
Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Will the wedding be photographed?
Answer
Yes! We'll have a professional photographer. We'd love for you to take photos during the celebration, but we kindly ask for no photos during the ceremony.

Where should I stay in Santa Barbara?

Please review all the hotel and Airbnb options on the "Travel" tab of our website. We were able to secure some great discounts at a few hotels plus there are a lot of awesome Airbnbs around town.

We recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible as Santa Barbara is a popular destination, especially in September.

Rather than traditional gifts, we've created a honeymoon fund and a future home fund. If you prefer giving something personal, we would treasure that thoughtful gesture as well. Our registry information can be found on the "Registry" page of this website.

This is an adults-only celebration. While we love your little ones, we've decided to make our wedding day an adult affair so that you all can enjoy your night!

What will the weather be like in Santa Barbara?
Answer
Santa Barbara typically has beautiful weather in September, with daytime temperatures usually ranging from 70-80°F and evening temperatures cooling down to around 55-60°F. We strongly recommend bringing a warm jacket or wrap for the evening portion of the celebration, as temperatures can drop significantly after sunset.

Will there be other events during the wedding weekend?

Yes, please review the "Schedule" tab of this website for full details. Everyone is invited to the Welcome Party on the 4th and the College Football Bar Crawl on the 6th. The Rehearsal dinner on the 3rd is only for close family and friends. Please identify which events you can join on the RSVP form. Please let us know if you have any questions!
