Pictured Rocks
When in Munising, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a must! There are numerous ways to see the cliffs- cruises, kayaking, and hiking. We recommend Pictured Rocks Cruises (sit on the "passenger" side) or just taking a drive to Miners castle overlook and/or beach.
Beaches - Sand Point, Miners, & AuTrain
If you're in town on a nice sunny day, we recommend relaxing at one of the three following beaches. Sand Point is closest to town, Miners has beautiful cliffs and rocks & Au Train is where we got engaged!
Waterfalls - Miners, Munising & Wagner
If you're staying for the weekend or looking for a peaceful escape before or after the big day, we highly recommend exploring one of the area's beautiful local waterfalls. They are the perfect spot for a quiet walk or a scenic photo op.
Rustic Grounds Coffee Company Trailer
This cute coffee trailer is Frankie's favorite place to grab a latte in the morning. You can even bring your four legged friends and get a pup cup! The owners are super friendly and they have a delicious menu- coffee, lattes, smoothies & more!
Gallery Coffee Company
This coffee shop is an ideal spot to relax in the heart of downtown. The interior is full with stunning photographs of the lakeshore.
East Channel Brewing Company
A place to grab a beer and eat a Cooking Carberry's pizza! This brewery has two locations: the Pub and the Connection. It's also where I work in the summer!
Barge Inn
Grab a drink and kick back in a fun atmosphere with an awesome outdoor patio perfect for sunny days. Say hi to Rob (the owner) and his German Shepherd, Belle, when you're there!
