First encounter was Freshman year of college. Emma was playing volleyball and Frankie was playing football. Once fall break had rolled around and most students had left, but Emma and Frankie were still on campus due to their sports schedules. When Emma was walking into her residence hall, Frankie noticed her and quickly asked his friend if he should ask her to hangout with them. He called up the stairwell to join them. Shortly after joining Emma found an excuse to leave. At the time of the brief meeting they were both in other relationships with hometown people (but one foot out the door). A year went by and their paths never really crossed. Almost exactly a year later (both single at this point) Emma and Frankie started running into each other everywhere. Each time quick in passing. One night at a party Emma spotted Frankie and decided to go up and talk to him. Shortly after, they went on their first official date to Dunkin’ (the most romantic spot in Selinsgrove)

Shortly after becoming official on March, 24, 2017, Emma and Frankie started their long distance journey. Starting with the summer apart. Emma spending it in Maryland and Frankie in Pennsylvania. During this time there were frequent road trips to see each other filled with hikes and ice cream dates. Emma then headed to Ireland for a semester abroad. After a long 4 months, Emma returned to Susquehanna to finish the rest of undergrad. Emma and Frankie graduated from Susquehanna University, the first of many accomplishments tackled together. Since then they moved to Virginia together, where Frankie began and completed med school and Emma completed her Masters. After 4 wonderful years in Virginia, full of great memories and friends gained along the way they were preparing for their next big step. To celebrate Frankie's graduation and beginning residency soon they headed to Switzerland. While there, Frankie asked Emma to marry him. Obviously, she said YES. Shortly after they embarked on their cross country road trip. As of June 2024 they have been living in Tacoma, Washington.
