It all started when Drizzy spotted Frankie’s bright orange Nike shoes and matching backpack in a classroom of over 100 students and thought, "I bet that guy is cute.” Fate had other plans, and soon Frankie and Andrea crossed paths again, not just as classmates, but as coworkers. Frankie became the trash boy that Andrea would crush on for the rest of her life. We were only freshmen when our friendship began, filled with memories every Spartan knows well, MLK Library study dates, late-night walks to the DC, off-campus movie nights, underaged drinking at Peanuts, getting low at PD, and hungover morning walks to Ho Bags. For three years, we walked our own paths until destiny reconnected us in 2016. This time there wasn’t a bright Nike backpack catching Andrea’s eye… but instead, her Snapchat and Instagram caught Frankie’s. After many DM exchanges (and asking Andrea out about ten times), she finally said yes. The rest, as they say, is history. From throwing ragers at Giles that ended with 10 lbs of door-dashed Taco Bell to now being responsible homeowners (still door-dashing Taco Bell, of course) we’ve truly lived a dozen lives together. Along the way, we’ve celebrated a total of 10 birthday celebrations together, both experienced career milestones, we made new friends who became family, we have learned and are continuing to learn how to be the best version of ourselves, rescued 2 very lucky boys, bought a house together, got engaged, and survived a home remodel. Through it all, the best part has been having each other every step of the way. These days, our favorite moments are the simple ones: date nights at home with the pups, cozy fire pit evenings with our closest friends and family, hiking the beautiful hills of Contra Loma, participating in sports together, and the chaos of a good old game night of dominoes or Monopoly Deal. We look forward to more of life’s simple moments together and we wouldn’t change a single thing about our journey or the incredible people who have been part of it. ♥ It’s been a long time coming, and we couldn’t be happier to finally celebrate our love with all of you. We can’t wait to share this special day with our favorite people!
