One glorious day in March, two bored working adults swiped right. One week later, and they were on their first date at Glory Days Grill conversing over cheese fries and wings on a Sunday afternoon.

Mari and Frank casually dated for a few months before it was time for Frank to leave for basic training. They knew they had something special, but the next 3 months would solidify their bond, anxiously awaiting each other’s letters during Frank’s three month training in Ft. Benning, Georgia. After sharing their feelings the good old fashioned way, Mari flew down to Georgia with the Stureks to greet her soldier and congratulate him on his accomplishment. At the end of the trip, Mari and Frank made their relationship official and their love story officially began.

On a beautiful day in December, at a Sturek ~ DiDuro holiday brunch, Frank got down on one knee and popped the big question. Asking Mari, "Will you marry me?" with Luna by her side, Mari said "YES" and just like that they were engaged! Their family and friends celebrated with champagne and a cheers to their future.
