The dress code is semi-formal, but remember that lighter fabrics and colours are oftentimes a must in the spring months in Sarasota. Temperatures usually reach low to mid-80s*F/high 20s*C that time of year.
After the church ceremony there will be a reception at the Garden Tea Room at Shoogie Boogies at 1919 Morrill St, Sarasota, FL which will include canapes and drinks followed by a three-course meal. Please consider carpooling with other wedding guests for the roughly 20-minute drive to downtown Sarasota. Our venue is located at the far end of Morrill Street in downtown Sarasota, the last commercial property on the street. It has a cozy, residential feel and can be easy to miss, so please keep an eye out! The area directly across the street is strictly residential. Parking is free along both sides of Morrill Street, simply park on the street itself. Please avoid nearby parking lots or garages, as street parking is readily available. If you have any trouble finding a spot on the street, feel free to check the adjacent side streets for additional free on-street parking. The reception will conclude at about 8pm.
