We’re getting married!

Our story began in 2013 at Islands Restaurant in Vista, CA. Karina began her first job as a hostess, and Frankie was working as a busser. We worked most weekly shifts together, began bonding over music, and quickly became close friends. Frankie invited Karina to her first EDM show in February 2014. Leading up to this show, we had grown closer and spoke to each other every day. Along with some friends, we saw Camo & Krooked at the Avalon Hollywood on February 21st. We spent the night dancing and ended up sharing our first kiss! We took a trip to the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla, CA in March 2014 for our first date! Frankie bought Karina a sea turtle keychain, which she still carries with her everyday. That Summer, we enjoyed beach days, movie nights, and riding crazy rides at six flags & the county fair. On august 14th, we packed our favorite snack (Doritos & guacamole) and drove up to Laguna Beach for a beach day. As we sat on the sand, watching the sunset, Frankie asked Karina to be his girlfriend!! Pink Floyd was one of the many bands we bonded over from the beginning, so we decided to celebrate 1 month of dating by seeing Which One’s Pink?, a Pink Floyd cover band, and we have continued to see them almost every year since! Fast forward to our 10 year anniversary, where we flew to Kona, Hawaii to spend a week exploring the island! On August 13, 2024, we spent the day exploring Mauna Kea and snorkeling at Manini’owali Beach. That evening, we enjoyed an amazing dinner at Lava Lava Beach Club with live music and a view of the beach. After dinner, we walked to a secluded beach, and as we watched the sun go down, Frankie got down on one knee & asked Karina to marry him! One month after being engaged, we accomplished our #1 goal and bought our very first home in Vista!! Over these past 11 years, we’ve adventured through 17 national parks, 9 states, and 2 countries! We adopted 2 fur babies, Tia and Niko, who we adore! Now, we are absolutely thrilled to say ‘I Do’ in front of our family and closest friends. We are so grateful for the love and support you’ve all given us throughout our relationship, and we can’t wait to dance the night away & celebrate with you!
