Chris and I met in 2014 while working for Stitch Fix. We were both so excited to have “real” office jobs after college—it was a magical time in San Francisco during the tech boom. We technically shared the same desk, but since we came in on different days, we kept missing each other. One night, we met up for pizza with some coworkers at Sliver in Berkeley, and that’s when everything clicked. We instantly shared the same sense of humor, and when we looked at each other, we both knew the other “got it.” We were on the same wavelength from the start. Soon after, we worked remotely together one day—which turned into spending the entire weekend together. We laughed nonstop (to the point where Bree spit out her drink multiple times in public). We were inseparable right away. What started with humor grew into a deep connection built on shared values and goals. Those early days exploring every corner of San Francisco, Berkeley, and Oakland were pure magic, and we can’t wait to share a piece of that with you at our wedding in North Beach and Chinatown! We’ve been to our venue many times—at least six! It used to host an immersive theatrical show set in the 1920s, where guests could roam freely and interact with the actors. We loved it so much that we brought everyone we knew, including Ama (Bree’s late grandmother). Even though Ama won’t be able to be at our wedding, it’s very special that she experienced this magical place. We are so excited to get married at the Palace Theater. This city, this venue, and this community hold so much meaning for us - we came of age here and fell in love here. We’re so grateful to everyone traveling to be part of our special day. Thank you for being a part of our love story.
