Come celebrate with us!

Like many modern couples, we met on a dating app: Bumble! We did discover (in doing our research before meeting each other) that we had a mutual friend in common: Molly. Doing our due diligence, we each texted Molly to find out the dirt on each other. She simply told us both that we would be perfect for each other and we had to meet. We met for the first time for coffee at Sideboard, the day after Christmas, 2018. We talked about our career goals, growing up in the Bay Area, and our families. We continued to see each other over Claire's extra-long winter break and quickly became inseparable. We moved into our first apartment in Pleasanton in May 2020, got our dog Mason May 2021, and engaged in November 2021!

Mitchell tricked Claire to get her to go on a 24 hour trip to Mendocino and stay at their favorite hotel, The Glendeven Inn. Claire had no idea Mitch was going to propose and almost went on this rendezvous having packed 0 makeup, hair product or nice clothes. Luckily, Mitch convinced her to pack 1 nice outfit as he wanted to take her to dinner. Mitch proposed before dinner, at sunset, on the cliffs in Mendocino. He hired a photographer to capture the moment and we had an engagement photo session. To celebrate, we enjoyed drinks and dinner at Trillium Cafe and lunch the next day on the cliffs at Harbor House Inn. He pulled off the perfect surprise and made Claire the happiest ever!
