What does Black Tie Optional / Formal attire mean?

We are so excited to celebrate this special day with all of you! To help you plan your look for the evening, our dress code is Black Tie Optional / Formal. Please see the attire tab for inspiration! We want everyone to feel comfortable, confident, and celebratory, so please choose attire that makes you feel your best while keeping the occasion in mind. We can’t wait to see you all dressed to celebrate!

Are there any colors I should avoid ?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid wearing white, black, ivory, champagne, light pink or very light shades to allow the bride, groom and bridal party to stand out.

What time should I arrive ?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 2:30PM in Holy Cross Church. Please arrive 15 minutes early to be seated. If you arrive late you will miss the bridal party entrance as well as the brides and will not be allowed to enter the ceremony. Our reception will follow at Greentree Country Club at 6:30PM. Guests can arrive 15 minutes early, you will be greeted with cocktail hour, followed by dinner and lots of dancing.

Can I bring a plus one ?

Answer

We’d love to welcome everyone and celebrate with everyone you love, but to keep things intimate (and within our venue space), we’re only able to include the guests listed on your invitation. We’re so grateful for your understanding and can’t wait to party with you!

Can I bring my kids ?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. The only exceptions are our daughter and the children in our bridal party. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
