Hotel
This is another hotel option located in the city of Santa Marta. Historical area and more fun for those who prefer to stay in a more vibrant area.
Travel Note
Besides the hotels, there are also plenty of Airbnb options nearby, including some quiet spots like Playa Dormida, Bello Horizonte, and also the main areas of Santa Marta.
Travel Note
You’ll be flying into Santa Marta, and the area we’re staying in is called Playa Dormida Playa Dormida is a peaceful, more private beachfront area just outside the city—perfect for unwinding with ocean views, quiet mornings, and beautiful sunsets. It’s also conveniently located about halfway to our wedding venue, making it an easy and relaxing place to stay. Shuttles to the wedding will be departing from Playa Dormida for your convenience. If you prefer something more lively, staying in Santa Marta’s historic center offers a completely different vibe—colorful streets, great restaurants, nightlife, and plenty to explore. Whether you choose calm and coastal or vibrant and cultural, you really can’t go wrong. ✨
Travel Note
Santa Marta sits at sea level, so there are no altitude concerns. The weather is tropical and warm year-round. In November, expect hot, humid days, warm nights, and occasional short rain showers. Light clothing and staying hydrated are key! 🌴
