FAQs

Question

Do we have to RSVP?

Answer

Yes! We cannot stress this enough. Our venue requires a firm head count because their pricing structure is per person. If you do not RSVP by the correct date you will not have a seat, or a meal, and will not be permitted into the reception. If you have any trouble RSVPing through this website please let either of us know and we will add you personally to the guest list. Thank you.

Question

Is your wedding adults only?

Answer

Yes, although we love the little people our wedding is a formal event geared toward adults. In addition it turns out we know and love a lot of people and to include everyone’s children under thirteen would take us over the limit that our venue can host at one time but we will accommodate our out of town family’s children because we know it is much more difficult to find child care for an entire weekend, just let us know and we will add them to the count. So to all the parents, take this opportunity to get dressed up and have an awesome date night celebrating with us! We do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and we hope you all can still attend.

Question

What should we do during the break between the church ceremony and the start of cocktail hour?

Answer

For those who have booked a hotel room we suggest you use this time to check in and relax for awhile so you can last all night dancing with the newly weds. Those who chose not to stay in Joliet over night we have compiled a list on this website of local attractions and restaurant/bars you might want to relax at during that time.

Question

Will the couple be having a post wedding breakfast?

Answer

Yes, we will be down in the lobby of the Home2Suites hotel enjoying the complementary breakfast at 9 am. Any guests that stay in the same hotel can stop down and say hello, hang out and enjoy a light breakfast with the newly weds.
