A beautiful local monastery repurposed into a Catholic retreat, Enders Island's campus is open to the public. Stroll around the island and visit the beach or gardens. There may be a security check on the entrance through Mason's Island, but tell them you are going to visit Enders Island and they will let you through.
The Velvet Mill in Stonington features cute local shops, breweries, artists, bakeries, and a farmers market, all in one repurposed mill built in 1888.
