When should I reserve my hotel room?

Answer

As soon as possible! We’ve reserved a limited room block at the Westin in downtown Sarasota at a special rate of $289 per night. Room block link - https://book.passkey.com/e/51069171 While you’re not required to stay at the Westin, we do recommend staying downtown for convenience. Other great nearby options include Art Ovation and Aloft.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We look forward to celebrating with you in style! The wedding is black-tie optional — think elegant and elevated. Our beautiful bridesmaids will be in long sage-green dresses and the groomsmen will be wearing tuxedos. For men: Tuxedo or suit & tie. For women: Gown or cocktail dress.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Trolley transportation will be provided from the Westin hotel with two scheduled pick-up times. Please arrive in the hotel lobby 10 minutes before your designated departure time. First pick-up: 4:30 PM Second pick-up: 5:00 PM At the conclusion of the reception, there will be return transportation to the Westin. Free garage parking is also available onsite and you may leave your cars overnight if needed!

When should I arrive?

The ceremony starts at 5:30PM, so please arrive early to find a seat and get settled. You are welcome to roam the botanical gardens beforehand.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors followed by an indoor reception at the same venue.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

May in Sarasota is typically hot and humid, with average daytime temperatures ranging from the mid to high 80s°F (around 31°C). Nights remain warm, with temperatures usually in the upper 60s to low 70s°F (18–20°C). Make sure to pack sun protection.

While we love your little ones, only the children that are participating in the ceremony are invited due to the venue's capacity constraints. Thank you for your understanding!
