We're getting married!

In February of 2020, two hearts searching for something—perhaps friendship, perhaps love—crossed paths in the most modern of ways. Francis and Julianna, both young & curious, found themselves sifting through profiles on a dating app, unaware that fate was guiding their thumbs. Then, as if by magic, they both swiped right. What followed was a whirlwind of laughter-filled messages, shared dreams, and playful banter. At the time, Julianna was home in Burnt Hills, New York, while Francis was away at college in Castleton, Vermont. Despite the distance—and the fact that they were still strangers—Julianna took a leap of faith. She hopped in her car and made the 90-minute drive to meet the mysterious boy behind the screen. Their first date was simple: pizza at a local pub and endless conversation that made the hours disappear. Though their time together was short that evening, something special had clearly begun. Julianna made the trip again. And again. And again—four times, in fact—until the world changed overnight. When the pandemic hit, and quarantine set in, fate intervened once more: Francis moved back home, just 30 minutes from Julianna. Their bond rekindled during secret strolls through Saratoga Battlefield, sneaking away from lockdown to enjoy each other's company while the world stood still. But as many stories of youth go, the pressures of uncertainty and the chaos of a world turned upside down led them to part ways. Even so, their story didn’t end there. Years passed. They lived, learned, and loved. And through it all, they never truly forgot one another. They would silently check in—watching each other's lives unfold from afar, wondering what might have been. Then, in March of 2023, the stars aligned once more. Francis, sitting at his sister Samantha’s house, confessed that he had never stopped thinking about Julianna. That no matter the time or distance, he was ready to see her again. So he reached out. And as if destiny had been waiting, Julianna—also still holding that ember of hope—welcomed him back into her world. Their reunion was magic. They met in downtown Saratoga, bouncing from spot to spot, sharing a pint at Pint Sized, catching up as if no time had passed. They talked, they laughed, and they felt it—that spark. From that moment on, they were inseparable: taking long walks, running errands together, and sharing quiet evenings with Hank, their sweet chocolate lab. But even in fairytales, hearts can be cautious.. Francis gently waited, dropping hints, holding space, until the moment finally felt right. On April 12, 2023, they shared their first kiss—and their story truly began. Since then, they have loved each other fiercely, truly, and fully. He is her prince—the one she dreamt of, prayed for, and waited for since she was a little girl. And she is his match in every way—his heart, his home, his forever. The rest, as they say, is history.
