Matron of Honor
I can’t pinpoint the exact moment in time that Cece and I became friends, but what I can admit this: I was persistent about talking to her! Cece has one of the kindest and strong willed hearts I’ve ever met. She may not always be nice, but it’s called balance right lol. She is someone who is willing to stand by her loved ones when times get hard, believe it or not her advice is very grounded and levelheaded, and I only say believe it or not because well, if you know her, you know! And above all, she moves with love. Anything she does has no ill intent, she wants to fill a cup and witness her loved ones flourish. she’s also the type of person who lights up a room and situation - you already know things are better when she arrives. Cece - you-wild-kind-hearted-soul deserve and are worthy of love that has no boundaries but unlimited respect, care, and understanding.
Maid of Honor
I met Cece in the 4th grade at St. Martin De Porres. When I first saw her, I thought she was so quiet, but I saw a star! So, I decided to recruit her (haha). We’ve been locked in ever since. She’s my children’s godmother (she didn’t have a choice), and they love her. Cece has pure intentions, and she genuinely cares about the people she loves, even with her sometimes thin patience. I understand her as a person. I love her with my entire heart, and I wouldn’t trade her for anyone else. I appreciate her friendship, her honesty, and her love. As I am writing this, I’m tearing up because a friendship like this is rare to come by, and I’m grateful. She is my sister! Here we are, 20+ years later, still bad and bougie!

I met my niece the day she made me an aunt for the first time, and I had no idea then that she would grow into my built‑in best friend. We grew up under the same roof, laughing together, traveling together, sneaking drinks together, and even clubbing together once we got grown. My niece definitely puts the ‘V’ in Virgo, and she used to love introducing me to her friends as ‘TT Stacy’—absolutely not, just call me Stacy, I was way too young to be anybody’s auntie back then 😂. Watching her step into this new chapter as a wife makes my heart so full, and I’m grateful for every season we’ve shared together. I love you, kid. Wishing you a lifetime of love and laughter. Love, Auntie Stacy.

Ce Ce and I have been friends since we were in diapers, a bond that really started with our moms becoming besties first. Our friendship has truly grown up alongside us. Some of my favorite memories come from our teenage years living on Monroe and Central on the west side of Chicago. From ages thirteen to seventeen, we spent countless hours sitting on the front porch laughing, joking, and just enjoying life with friends and family. She was also my certified hairstylist, always making sure my hair looked cute and stylish in braids or curls. What I love most about Ce Ce is her carefree, calm, and humorous nature. She has a way of turning any situation into a funny, lighthearted moment, and being around her always feels easy and genuine. One of my fondest memories is actually a recent one, her birthday weekend in Dallas, where she opened her home to her closest friends. Even though we hadn’t seen each other in years, it felt like no time had passed at all… just like we were sixteen again, sitting on that front porch on Monroe. Our friendship is rooted in laughter, history, and a bond that has only grown stronger with time, and I’m so grateful to stand beside her during such a beautiful chapter of her life.

I met CeCe the summer of going into the sixth grade at a summer program. She was extremely shy and quiet but loved hanging out with me even though she didn’t talk a lot. The next time I saw her was at HighSight our freshman year of high school and that’s when we found out we were going to the same high school together. CeCe became my best-friend/sister during our freshman year and we spent a lot of time together during school and after school. She will come over to my grandma house after school and we would walk to HighSight together. I can confine in CeCe about anything and there will be no judgment. She was one of the first people who accepted me for who I am and loved me unconditionally. I am honored to stand up beside her on her special day to witness pure happiness and love.

I met Cece during our freshman year at Monmouth College when she was friends with my roommate. One of my first memories of her is when she saw the man in the background of my computer and asked if it was my boyfriend. It was actually Cristiano Ronaldo, and to this day I’m still not sure if she was serious or just messing with me—but it was the start of our friendship. We became fast friends and ended up living together during our sophomore and junior years of college. Cece was my first true college friend and helped me through a tough time being away from home. Having her by my side made such a difference, and I’ll always be grateful for that. Cece is one of the kindest and most caring people I know. She has such a natural way of making everyone feel welcomed, supported, and loved. I feel so lucky to call her one of my closest friends, and I am beyond honored to stand by her side on such a special day.

Cece and I met at work in the lab, and from the start, we vibed right away. What began as us vibing turned into us becoming sisters. From random dinners to Jamaican nights at the clubs where you made everything more fun for me because I was always shy. I remember that one time I went on a lil boat party with you and Nelly. We’ve made so many memories I’ll always hold onto. I'm really grateful for you and everything we’ve shared together. I’m super excited to stand by you on your special day. I love you CeCe and we miss you here in Chicago!

Oh my Cece💕, my girl, my daughter's fabulous Tee Tee CeCe . Oh how I love you so much as if we were literally biological sisters. I met Cece when I started dating her brother. She was kind of forced to love me lol. She would bust in the room and come lay in the bed with us. Over the years of living with them we grew a very strong bond. When she found out I was pregnant with her first niece she was so excited. As soon as I brought her home cece fell in love with her. I love my Cece so much she's literally like my older sister, her guidance, her love and her jokes are unmatched. We have such a good time when we're around each other and honestly, we laugh, we cry , we drink & do it all over again . Witnessing you grow and glow over the years has been an honor and honestly, I couldn't be more blessed and thankful to be one of your bridesmaids. She is truly the true definition of an amazing teetee to my babies. Every time I look at my oldest daughter and her little attitude, I think about Cece. Her nieces love her to death, and I love her even more for excepting me into their family. At this point you're stuck with me for the rest of your life so you might as well get used to it because you my girl 💕 & I love you girlie.

I'll never forget the first time I met Francis. He came to Chicago with cece, and we all met up at a local restaurant to spend some time together. At first, he seemed a little quiet and reserved, but the more we talked, the more I saw what a genuine person he is. He's cool, funny, and has a kind spirit that's easy to appreciate. Cece and I have been friends since kids, so seeing her find someone like Francis means a lot to me. I truly believe he's the perfect match for her, and it's clear they bring happiness to each other. Im honored to be a part of their special day.

I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for accepting me as one of your groomsmen for the wedding. It truly means a lot to me and I appreciate the respect and kindness behind that gesture. Even though we don't talk often, the last conversation we had left a strong impression on me. I could tell you have a great head on your shoulders, carry yourself with maturity, and have genuine intentions. That gave me a lot of peace as a brother. My sister means the world to me, and knowing she is with someone I believe will love her, protect her, and take good care of her means more than I can fully express. Im grateful to be part of this important day and honored to stand beside you both. Wishing you nothing but blessings, happiness and a strong marriage ahead.
