FLIGHTS - We recommend using www.skyscanner.com or the Hopper app for flight searches, and setting up price alerts. Flying into and out of different airports can also be cost effective and allow you to explore different parts of Italy. TRAINS - Train travel is easy and convenient in Italy. Tickets can be bought online or via the app prior to boarding and are available in 1st and 2nd class options. The high speed trains are Freccia Rossa or Freccia Argento. Stations to know are Firenze S. M. N., Milano Centrale, and Roma Termini. http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en https://www.italotreno.it/en CARS - If you want to explore the countryside while in Italy you will need a car. Italy requires an International Drivers Permit which is easy to obtain through AAA. ACCOMMODATIONS - We'll share some hotel options below, soon. Airbnb is also a great option to live as the locals do, just take note of the reviews. A fifth floor walk up is not uncommon!
