Kyle & Franchesca met in college at Saint Xavier University in Chicago, IL. Kyle played basketball there and Franchesca played softball, it was a small school and they both lived on campus making it easy to bump into one another on the quad, in the dorms, or in the cafeteria. When they saw each other, before they officially met, the two were definitely interested in one another but were just friendly towards each other in passing. For the longest time, Franchesca & her roommate actually called Kyle "Chisel Man" (such a fitting nickname with a jawline like that), Franchesca would come back to her dorm and say "I just saw chisel man in the hallway and he said hi to me"! Towards the end of their Junior Year Kyle and Franchesca's were finally introduced when their friend groups started going out together more often. Kyle and Franchesca hit it off right away and then one night at Gilhooley's Kyle asked Franchesca if she would go on a date with him and she said yes. They had so much fun that last week of school that Franchesca asked Kyle to be her date to one of her SXU softball friend's weddings. Kyle said yes and they got to spend the weekend together, Kyle & Franchesca weren't dating yet but will both tell you that after this weekend they both knew this was going to be something special. Later that summer for Franchesca and her friend Kristie's 21st birthday they went down to Nashville. This gave Kyle and Franchesca another chance to hang out that summer and at the end of the long weekend on August 7, 2016, Kyle asked Franchesca if she would be his girlfriend and Franchesca said yes! After 4 years of dating (some of them long distance), starting their careers, buying a home together, and adopting a puppy (then later another one) Kyle popped the question on July 29, 2020. Franchesca was thrilled to say yes! Now two years later they are ready to stand before their family and friends & say "I do"!
